A-C® 820A
Low density polyethylene (LDPE) Homopolymer
Very low viscosity, medium density polyethylene (PE) homopolymer for use in solvent borne coatings, in heatset and liquid solvent borne inks to improve mar & abrasion (rub resistance) by lowering COF(Increasing slip). It acts as a rheological aid in Hot Melt Adhesives (HMAs), acting as a diluent, to lower viscosity at the application temperature while improving substrate wetting, both leading to improved adhesion. Can also be partially substituted for FT (Fisher Tropsch) Wax in adhesive applications without detracting from formulation properties. It is used as a dispersing agent for color masterbatch applications.
